Community Guidelines

1. Be authentic

AsiaFlare is built on real connections. That starts with real profiles.

• Use your real name or a name you genuinely go by.
• Upload recent photos that clearly and accurately represent you. Group photos are fine — just make sure it's clear which person you are.
• Do not use AI-generated images, heavily edited photos, or images of someone else as your profile picture.
• Your profile bio must represent who you are. Do not post misleading information about your age, location, occupation or intentions.

2. Treat people with respect

Every person on AsiaFlare deserves to feel safe and respected. We have zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, threats, intimidation or abusive language — in messages, profile bios or anywhere on the platform.
• Unsolicited explicit or sexual messages. Respect boundaries.
• Bullying, body-shaming, or demeaning language based on someone's appearance, nationality, gender, sexuality or religion.
• Persistent messaging after someone has asked you to stop or has unmatched you.

3. Keep it real — no fake profiles or scams

Deception undermines everything we are building. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Creating a profile for someone else without their consent.
• Impersonating a public figure, celebrity or another AsiaFlare user.
• Using the app to run scams — including romance scams, fake investment schemes (known as “pig butchering”), gift card requests or any other financial fraud.
• Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or manipulate the platform.

If you suspect you are being scammed, stop engaging and report the user immediately. Never send money to someone you have not met in person.

4. Profile photo standards

Your first photo must show your face clearly. Additionally:

• No nudity or sexually explicit imagery in profile photos.
• No photos featuring weapons, drugs or illegal activity.
• No photos of children as your main profile picture.
• No watermarks, contact details or links in photos.
• No photos taken from other users' profiles without permission.

5. No spam or solicitation

AsiaFlare is for genuine connections — not marketing.

• Do not send bulk or copy-paste promotional messages.
• Do not advertise products, services, OnlyFans, social media pages or any other commercial offering.
• Do not include your phone number, Instagram, Snapchat, WeChat, LINE or any external contact in your opening messages or profile bio as a way to bypass the app.
• Escort services, solicitation of sexual services, or any offer involving payment for companionship is strictly prohibited.

6. No hate speech or discrimination

AsiaFlare welcomes people of all backgrounds. Content that promotes hatred, dehumanises individuals, or discriminates against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.

7. No illegal activity

Do not use AsiaFlare to facilitate, promote or engage in any illegal activity, including but not limited to:

• Human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
• Distribution or promotion of illegal drugs.
• Financial fraud or money laundering.
• Child sexual abuse or exploitation (see our CSAE Policy).

8. Reporting and enforcement

We rely on our community to help keep AsiaFlare safe. If you encounter a user or content that violates these guidelines:

• Tap the three-dot menu on any profile or message and select “Report”.
• Block the user to prevent further contact.
• Email us at hello@asiaflareapp.com for serious matters.

Our Trust and Safety team reviews all reports. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may issue a warning, temporarily suspend or permanently ban an account. We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.

9. Enforcement actions

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Warning: for minor first-time violations.
• Content removal: photos or messages that violate guidelines will be removed.
• Temporary suspension: accounts involved in repeated or moderate violations.
• Permanent ban: for serious, repeated or irredeemable violations — including scams, CSAE, illegal activity or severe harassment.

Decisions are made at AsiaFlare's sole discretion. You may appeal a suspension by contacting hello@asiaflareapp.com.
